CDA Shares Details On Upcoming Commercial Plot’s Auction

In a recent advertisement published in national dailies, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) disclosed details about the upcoming open auction of commercial plots in Islamabad. 

The auction will occur at the Jinnah Convention Centre on May 29, 30, and 31, starting at 10 AM. This auction presents a lucrative opportunity for resident and non-resident Pakistanis (NRPs) to invest in the Capital City.

The commercial plots up for auction are located in various developed sectors of Islamabad, including Blue Area, Marakaz, Park Enclave Commercial, Industrial Plots, Agro Farms, E-11 Northern Strip, Class-III Shopping Centre, E-11/F-11 (Canopy side/marquee), and Petrol Pumps. 

To facilitate potential buyers, brochures containing comprehensive details of the available plots can be obtained from the one-window directorate and selected HBL, UBL, MCB, Askari Bank, and Bank of Punjab branches.

One of the key highlights of this auction is the flexible completion period offered for commercial plots based on their size:

• Plots up to 1,000 yards: 3 years
• Plots up to 3,000 yards: 4 years
• Plots exceeding 3,000 yards: 5 years

To encourage prompt payments, the CDA provides a 10% rebate on the total payment if made within one month. Moreover, an additional 5% rebate is available for payments made in USD. 

Once the initial 25% amount is paid, the building plans will be approved, and investors will receive support from a dedicated facilitation team throughout the process. Notably, the CDA has waived charges for site and marketing offices.

This auction is being hailed as a “golden opportunity of investment in Islamabad” as it ensures complete legal protection for the buyers. Interested individuals are advised to take advantage of this auction to secure commercial plots in Islamabad and benefit from the thriving real estate market.
