CM Elahi announces Phase 2 of housing scheme for journalists

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi announced the launch of the 2nd phase of the Lahore Press Club Housing Scheme. 

At his official house, the CM presided over the Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation Board’s 10th meeting. The property will be allocated in the Tehsil Cantt, where 500 Kanal would be set aside for 5-marla plots in the Ashiana Housing Scheme, according to the minister. 

The 15 Block B plots that had been improperly assigned during the meeting have been revoked, and the plots will now be distributed to Block B’s legitimate owners in a transparent way. The affected individuals will be given their rights after the illegal residents of Block B of the Press Club Housing Schemes are removed, as per the minister’s directive to the police. The minister also convened a meeting to discuss the issues facing those living in Block B.
