CM Elahi laid foundation stone of Data Darbar Parking Plaza

Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Pervaiz Elahi put up the first stone on Data Darbar Parking Plaza near the holy shrine of Uthman Ali Hajveli on Tuesday (January 17), according to sources.   

The 9-storey Data Darbar Parking Plaza will cover a 7-lane area and will be completed with an estimated budget of 3 billion Pkr.  

According to sources, the project will have the following characteristics:    

• Square has parking for 500 vehicles.
• Connected to the shrine by an underground walkway.  
• connected to the opposite ‘Panagah’ for outsiders.
• Connected viaduct for believers.  

This project will be completed and open to the public within the next six months. The project is part of his 23 billion Pkr mega-project of his CM Elahi for the State Capital which includes Samanabad Underpass Project, Gulshanravi T Junction Underpass Project, Sagian Road, Shadra Multilevel Flyover.
