To ensure tax compliance, the Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department has dispatched warning notices to approximately 37,000 property owners across Multan.
The Excise and Taxation office in Multan has issued these final warnings, indicating that failure to meet the tax obligations will result in a comprehensive operation against defaulters, devoid of any discrimination.
These notices were part of the diligent efforts undertaken by the Excise Office Multan to achieve tax collection targets. Property owners in various areas of Multan, including Hussain Agahi Bazaar, Bosan Road, Abdali Road, Kala Mandi, Masoom Shah Road, among others, have been served with the notices.
Highlighting the significance of tax payments from the business community and owners of luxury residences, commercial markets, and plazas.
Excise Director Iftikhar Ahmad Bhali emphasized that 70% of the property tax revenue is allocated for local development projects.
He urged citizens to promptly fulfill their property tax obligations to ensure the provision of essential amenities in the region and cautioned against potential legal consequences for non-compliance.
