The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has recently launched a helpline, 1237, to provide citizens with information on its processes via phone calls.

During the inauguration, FDA Director General Muhammad Asif Chaudhary highlighted that this telephone facility is part of several reforms aimed at improving the quality of services provided by the FDA.

The helpline will offer assistance to citizens seeking information relating to the Town Planning and Estate Management departments, including the issuance of no objection certificates (NOCs), town planning reports, completion certificates, ownership certificates, residential and commercial building plan approvals, the legal status of housing schemes, transfer of properties, katchi abadis issues, and other services provided by the authority.

Chaudhary added that the system might be expanded based on public response and aimed at controlling the agent mafia while providing factual information to citizens.
