Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab announced the repair of the Jam Sadiq Flyover for the Yellow Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and stated an alternative flyover will be constructed for smooth traffic flow.
All of the project’s stakeholders attended a meeting that the administrator hosted. The participants in the conference determined that the Jam Sadiq Flyover needs to be repaired because it is in poor shape. A different bridge that will be built for Yellow Line BRT was also mentioned.
The administrator also mentioned that the provincial government has been working hard to find a solution to the city’s transportation issues and improve the public’s access to better transportation options. When the bus service is finished, residents of Malir, Korangi, Dar-ul-Islam Society, Qayyumabad, Allahwala Town, Shahrah-e-Quaid, Landhi, and surrounding areas will have access to this new form of public transportation, according to Karachi Administrator Wahab, who shared information about the project.
