The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) has shared the progress of development work on the remodeling of Kalma Chowk Underpass project.
According to the specifics, in order to assure timely completion, the authorities have instructed the official contractor, National Logistics Cell (NLC), to carry out the project’s work 24 hours a day. Out of the 2,000 retaining piles, 1,000 have already been built in less than a month. The project will cost PKR 4.2 billion to complete.
A PCBDDA spokeswoman (whose identity was hidden) stated that the organisation was making the best use of all available resources to finish the project ahead of schedule. The news source stated the Ali Zaib Road electrical and telecommunications equipment moving process.
The authority said that the comprehensive traffic plan will be communicated to the public before completion of the Kalma Chowk underpass. The traffic plan will be planned with the help of the City Traffic Police.
