LDA's plans to eliminate invasion on some streets to improve traffic flow

The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to convert some roads into model roads. This is to eliminate interposition and solve parking problems.

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the agency to eliminate city encroachments and improve traffic flow. LDA has started converting some city roads into model roads. 

According to the details, the roads from Johar Town Main Street, Allama Iqbal Town Main Boulevard, Multan Road, Wahdat Road, Doctors Hospital to Expo Center will be turned into model roads.

LDA officials have notified educational institutions, restaurants, hospitals and commercial buildings along the road to comply with building codes and keep parking lots out of the way.
