Recovery of roads and infrastructure in Karachi is on priority by government

According to news published in a national newspaper, the head of Sindh Local Government (LG) said the restoration of Karachi’s roads and infrastructure is one of the government’s top priorities and the work will be accelerated. We said we were progressing at our pace.

LG’s secretary met with a World Bank (WB) delegation to discuss the rehabilitation of Karachi’s infrastructure and road rehabilitation. He went on to say that under the direction of Prime Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah (CM), all administrators and local government commissioners are overseeing the development work.

The news provider said the Karachi Development Authority (KDA), Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC), Municipal Corporation (DMC) and other concerned agencies are working together to improve the city. The WB delegation said all assistance would be given to overcome the difficult situation.
